Phoenix police opened an investigation early Thursday after a man was shot at a house party and later died at a hospital. Officers responded to a call reporting a shooting at a residence near 28th Street and Cannon Drive, just south of Shea Boulevard, at about 6 a.m. When officers arrived they found an adult male in extremely critical condition; the victim was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.
