Eastbound I-10 will be shut near the Deck Park Tunnel from the I-17 "Stack" interchange to State Route 51 from 9 p.m. Friday until 9 a.m. Saturday. Drivers can detour by taking southbound I-17 and reconnecting with I-10 near Sky Harbor Airport.

A separate westbound I-10 closure near the same tunnel will close the roadway between the I-17 "Split" interchange and Seventh Avenue from 9 p.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday. Northbound I-17 near Sky Harbor can be used to reach the I-10 Stack interchange north of Van Buren Street.

Pavement work will close southbound SR 51 between Northern Avenue and Highland Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday. Southbound I-17 is being recommended as a detour, and drivers may need to use surface streets to navigate around the closure.

In the West Valley, southbound Loop 101 will be closed between Indian School Road and I-10 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday; the southbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Cardinals Way and Camelback Road will also be closed. This work is part of a multi-year project to improve the Loop 101 and I-10 interchange, and drivers can use southbound 91st or 99th avenues to access I-10.

A segment of Loop 101 in Scottsdale will be reduced to two lanes in both directions between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive for pavement improvements from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday; some southbound ramps may close intermittently and motorists are advised to consider exiting before the work zone.

Additional East Valley restrictions include eastbound Loop 202 narrowed to two lanes between Arizona Avenue and McQueen Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday for a widening project, with the eastbound on-ramp at Arizona Avenue closed. Lindsay Road will be closed in both directions at Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Eastbound Loop 303 will be closed between 43rd Avenue and I-17 from 9 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday; drivers can detour via northbound 43rd Avenue to eastbound Dove Valley Road to reach I-17.

South of the Valley, the intersection of State Route 347 and Riggs Road north of Maricopa is scheduled for intermittent closures Sunday for traffic signal and utility work. The intersection could be closed in all directions for up to 15 minutes at a time between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. as crews prepare for a future widening project that will expand SR 347 from two lanes to three lanes. Officials note schedules are subject to change due to weather or other factors, and drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time.
