Zara Nail Bar to Join Destination at Gateway Retail Lineup in Mesa

Arizona Watcher

Zara Nail Bar, a luxury salon brand founded in Queen Creek, is planning a location at Destination at Gateway, the mixed-use development near SR 24 and Signal Butte Road in Mesa.

The brand was founded by Ivy Tran and grew from a single service-focused shop into a multi-location, higher-end salon concept offering a range of beauty services.

Zara is slated to occupy one of the retail pads within the 165-acre Destination at Gateway, a project that will include nearly 500,000 square feet of retail and a separate 100-acre auto mall.

Planned tenants include Walmart, 7 Brew, Take 5 Oil Change, Taco Bell and PAC Dental. Walmart is scheduled to open in late 2026, with adjacent retail spaces, including Zara, projected for mid-2027.

No exact suite location or formal opening date for Zara Nail Bar has been released. Developer and tenant announcements have described only projected windows and leasing activity to date.

On June 17, 2026 Mesa City Council approved rezoning, a retail tax incentive and a development agreement for the project. Tax reimbursements are capped at $14.4M and projected sales-tax receipts could total about $42.9M by 2034.
