Tucson melodic death‑metal band Wyrmhaven released their debut full-length, Seasons of Gloom, independently on May 29, 2026.
The album was written during a period marked by personal loss and perseverance, and the band says the songs balance dark, aggressive textures with moments of exposed vulnerability.
Wyrmhaven frames Seasons of Gloom as a move from early metalcore energy toward melodic death metal, aiming to marry intense heaviness with melodic lines and open songwriting.
Production was handled with Ryan Bram (co-producer/engineer) and final mixes/mastering by Zack Ohren; artwork by Adam Burke. The release appears on limited vinyl and digitally via the band’s Bandcamp.
Wyrmhaven released the single “Unrelenting Storms” on May 6, 2026 and supported the album with audio/video interviews credited to Ghost Cult Keefy, editor Omar Cordy, theme by Salted Wounds, and PR coordination from Earsplit PR.
Since release the band appeared on SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal and Octane. A July review in Teeth of the Divine praised solos, songwriting and Ohren’s production while noting the band has room to grow.
Seasons of Gloom is a 10-track, 35:13 album recorded by Ryan Bram at Homewrecker Studios; all songs written, arranged and performed by Wyrmhaven. The band’s prior releases include Midnight Altar, Sacred Grove and Delirium.
