Molly Miller arrived at Arizona State to rebuild a program that had lost its identity. Sixteen months in, she says the most important progress has been cultural — a player-led reset built from the locker room outward.

Miller launched Molly’s Momentum to knit fans, donors, current players and recruits together and provide structured pathways for community engagement, NIL opportunities and sustained program investment.

Early outreach included an invitation-only behind-the-scenes workout at the Weatherup Center for Sun Devil Club members and season-ticket holders to meet players and observe the culture up close.

Miller emphasizes building around personalities and leadership rather than statistics, singling out senior McKinna Brackens as a warm, visible leader who helps define the program’s identity.

Veteran players have mentored younger teammates; guard Amaya Williams described a seamless transition to college and aims to become a more vocal presence and defensive tone-setter as she advances.

Miller has partnered with NIL and sports-marketing advisors. Megan Curry of AthleteZ PR praised Miller’s willingness to experiment and collaborate to expand player opportunities and grow the program’s profile.

On the court the Sun Devils posted a 24-win season and an NCAA Tournament appearance. Molly’s Momentum is positioned to convert that competitive momentum into a durable foundation off the court.
