Respiro returns to downtown Tucson for its eighth edition at the Presidio San Agustín del Tucson Museum on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. in the museum’s courtyard and patios.
Organizers will convert the museum’s historic outdoor spaces into a wellness venue hosting movement classes, guided meditation, sound healing and a collection of local vendor booths.
The name Respiro reflects both breath and pause. Organizer Eva “Strawberry” Gottlieb says the event’s ethos is to create breathing room — a public break for body and mind in a historic setting.
Programming emphasizes inclusivity: offerings include yoga-style classes, bodyweight movement, guided meditation, sound bowls and varied healing modalities for different ages and abilities.
The Presidio San Agustín del Tucson Museum is a reconstructed 1775 Spanish fort identified as the birthplace of modern Tucson. Organizers say the historic courtyard adds a distinctive atmosphere to the event.
The all-ages event opens doors at 6:45 p.m. with a 7:00–7:30 p.m. grounding session. Tickets are on Eventbrite (organizer Pink Hour Pilates), start around $7.18, include free parking and carry a no-refunds policy.
