The project is led by Greg Bongiorno and his sons Mike and Keaton, with David Hrizak of The Streamline Companies overseeing development. CG Schmidt will be general contractor, Adaptive Architects the architect, and EPS Group the civil engineer and landscape architect.
Officials say The Nox will be privately funded with no public concessions requested, and the team plans to keep booking and programming independent rather than aligning with major national promoters.
The Nox will be a purpose‑built, two‑level concert hall for up to 2,000 patrons. Each level will include three full‑service bars and a kitchen; the first floor supports modular seating configurations and the second offers VIP fixed seating with in‑seat service.
Adjacent to the theater the Potato Barn is constructing a 50,000‑sq‑ft warehouse to support operations and provide ancillary parking. The site sits west of Potato Barn near Loop 202, and the team will promote ridesharing with discounted offers for event attendees.
Roughly 75% of the structure will house the concert hall and the remainder will be Hotel Umbrella Studios, a video production soundstage planned as Arizona’s first qualified facility to help productions access state film tax credits.
