Aaron Farinacci is being held in an Arizona jail as investigators probe his possible connection to the Spokane-area Old Trails fire.
Public records show Farinacci shot and killed his father in Mesa, Arizona, in 2010 during an argument; he pleaded guilty in 2012 to manslaughter and aggravated assault, served about a decade in prison and was released in 2020.
Spokane County investigators have charged Farinacci with first-degree arson; he was booked into the Spokane County Jail on $1 million bond after an initial court appearance.
